Coach thinks it is a good idea to run up the hill for two miles and then back down for the other two.... Liz and I thought this was a bad idea. On the plus side weather was nice and talking with Coach Holt about the up coming season was good motivation!

Grass loops drive me crazy... just cuz they feel so much longer going in circles.  I am super grateful to rachel h. for keeping me going today.  I can't keep up with stoner, kaylee and coach for very long but a little more each day so that is a good sign! Kids Camp was fun... 5th and 6th boys are a crazy bunch and threw things at me haha

I like running out in that area.  It is fun!  It is alway great to have Liz there!  Still mad at coach Roberts and Holt... but I'll forgive them!!! :)

Next week I am going to get my lazy butt out of bed to run in the morning.... the heat was not fun!  I felt lots better this saturday then last though.  I did better at drinking water which I think made a big difference!  I made sure I streched today cuz I haven't been (i know very bad) and my legs have been tight.

Learned some good things today.  It is days like this when I remember the reasons I love running so much.  It was great to run with coach and the top girls.  It has been strange not having coach roberts around!

4 miles- 2 loops in the lot.. it was good! and one set of striders... it was also good.

I like running as a big group and the cloud cover was awesome! Coach Roberts come home already please!

I am so glad I got up to run cuz when I went out I ran into makayla and colton! I ran with them while they finished off thier run and we ran into manu.. haha he came along for a little. It was soooo crazy and great fun!

AM: 5 miles- 3 mile dirt loops.. time faster each time and stuck with the group. I feel happy with it!

PM: 3 miles... WOW its hot! Even with the nice clouds. Its gonna be a long summer! It was fun to be in the wieght room again.

5 mile coral cayon death run......... it was THE WORST! Plus striders which may have been the slowest striders I've ever done. Not my best day. Rachel kept me going and made me stay with them which was really hard but I am super glad she did it. It has been hard lately, I feel like I am back a square one which is driving me mad. It use to be that I stayed with them no problem.

I love my brother Jeff. He is the best runner I have ever seen.     (jeff wrote that)

Still hard to keep up but little better everyday.  Tempo felt fast. This was indeed the same place we ran when we got lost. I like the days I work hard though cuz it makes it feel worth it. Mia has helped me see that I have an attitude problem... new goal is to work on that. Positive thinking is the first step.

pm: 3 miles. I don't love the heat but I do love the pool party that followed todays afternoon practice.. holla!

hell hole hills- when I heard we were doing hills in the hell hole.. I seriously considered leaving. but they ended up not being on the hill I thought they were going to be so it ended up not so bad. I felt better today then I have all week. It was just great! :D

oh and this is black and lame cuz idk where the little tool bar is.. it isn't showing up :( so please pretend this is in some fun color :)

I felt the same way about hills today - in fact I told Tyson that I hadn't even planned on doing them. But once we got going and he pulled me along it was a great workout and I survived... So good job getting out there and doing it!

four miles to green springs in the morning!

race in the evening.... well I am having a really hard time moving past this one. I know I can run better then that and am really mad at myself. My dad told me something that I really liked.. he said "well this can do one of two things. It can either discourage you and ruin the season or it can light a fire"... I better make sure that fire stays lit.
